From Student Voice to System Change: Using Learner Experience Data to Drive Innovation
Watch the Recording from Feb 25
Most schools care deeply about student engagement.
Fewer can see it clearly while there’s still time to act.
Too often, engagement shows up as a lagging signal or a climate survey that doesn’t quite translate into better decisions.
On Wednesday LEAP welcomed a panel of experts to share how school and district leaders use research-validated student engagement data to:
Understand how students experience learning
Identify disconnects early—before they surface in outcomes or behavior
Assess whether instructional models and initiatives are working as intended
This session introduced the LEAP Learner Engagement Survey and how it functions as a real-time indicator of student experience. Our panelists provided a clear picture of how engagement data can move beyond compliance or perception and become a practical, system-level tool for guiding improvement.
